Motoring Memories is a collection of motoring memorabilia and vehicles

East Lothian : Myreton Motor Museum Myreton Motor Museum is one of the oldest
motor transport museums in the UK. It first opened its doors in August 1966,
and resides in a complex of display rooms next to the farm of the founder, the
late Willie Dale.
East Sussex : Bentley Wildfowl and Motor Museum The vehicles in the collection at Bentley are
lent by many individual owners who wish them to be more widely seen and

Edinburgh : Lothian and Borders Fire Brigade The Museum of Fire tells the history of the
oldest municipal fire brigade in the United Kingdom, formed in 1824. Housed in

Essex : Battlebridge Motorcycle Museum This little museum evokes an ambience of

Essex : Castle Point Transport Museum The Castle Point Transport Museum, situated

Fife : Scottish Vintage Bus Museum The Scottish Vintage Bus Museum is now the
acknowledged focal point of historic bus restoration and operation in Scotland

Glasgow : Glasgow Museum of Transport The Museum of Transport in the Kelvin Hall is
one of the most popular museums of transport in the British Isles, attracting
half a million visitors a year. Founded in 1964, it houses many exhibits of
national and international importance.
Glasgow : Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust The Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust was formed
at the end of 2002. There are five Trustees, each having considerable
experience of large vehicle preservation.
Gloucestershire : Bugatti Trust Study Centre Hugh Conway was an acknowledged expert on
Bugatti history and well known internationally through his books, other

Kent : Dover Transport Museum The Dover Transport Museum was formed in
1980. There has been three other museum sites but now a site purchased with
lottery funds and funds given by many generous local businesses.
Kent : The CM Booth Collection of Historic Vehicles The main feature is the unique collection of
Morgan 3 wheel cars, 11 are normally on display, dating from 1913 to 1935.

South Yorkshire : Fire Police Museum The Museum was acquired from the City Council
and City Fathers in 1982 and was set up as The South Yorkshire Fire Service
Historical Society.
South Yorkshire : Kelham Island Industrial Museum Kelham Island Museum was opened in 1982 to
house the objects, pictures and archive material representing Sheffield's
industrial story.
Suffolk : East Anglia Transport Museum The museum has a wide range of vehicles in
its collection that have been collected from a variety of sources. Buses,
Trams, Trolleybuses, Steam Rollers, Light Railway Vehicles, Milk Floats,
Lorries, Cars, and even a Sinclair C5 go to making up the majority of the
collection.
Suffolk : Ipswich Transport Museum The Museum houses about 90 vehicles, which are
divided into various different types of collection. There is also a large
amount of material associated with local engineering companies, and transport
related memoribelia.
Surrey : Brooklands Museum
For three decades this famous racing track, placed like a giant
footprint in the Surrey countryside, just 20 miles south west of London, was
the centre of British Motor Sport.

The Museum houses about 30 vehicles, made up mainly of ex-London buses,
and associated vehicles. There are also a few privately owned vehicles which do
not have any London connection.
